World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade of your items is a vital element of equipping your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and the ability to enchant.
They also offer bonuses and enhancements. The Blacksmith is able to sell them to you.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Every item recycled adds level to the upgrade gauge.

Weapon
If a weapon is upgraded, it receives an initial damage bonus as well as a scaling factor which affects other stats. The weapon may also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components that provide additional features or effects as well as distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools. They generally require that the equipment has an upgrade slot available and meets certain specifications. When a weapon or armor piece has an upgrade component in it, the item can be replaced with another, but the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be found through the Black Lion Salvage Kit, Ascended Salvage tool, or a higher-tier salvaging tool on an item.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that increases certain stats, for example Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is done via the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon it can be done up to four times.
When the weapon is at maximum upgrade, it can be reforged using a variety of different upgrade types to improve specific stats or to add bonuses and effects. A variety of these upgrades can be re-applied at once, and their effects vary depending on the nature of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths can perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the type of damage a weapon deals.
It is generally recommended to increase the damage of your weapon first, then armour defense, and then the other secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon prior to upgrading other gear. This can help increase DPS. This is particularly applicable to enchantments that boost a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades let players enhance the performance of certain armors, weapons trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also have additional effects like increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades are available through crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors and loot drop, or as rewards for quests.
Armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currencies. Most armor will upgrade to the next level after an upgrade. This can be done for all types of armor, but certain items are not upgradeable at all (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).
Most armor upgrades increase the item's strength or defense by just a little. Certain upgrade components, however can result in significant increases in defense or strength. This is especially relevant when upgrading epic items.
In addition to increasing the base defense of an item, some upgrades also provide special abilities that can be activated when wearing an armor. These abilities can be very beneficial in combat. For example they can boost attack speed or block. Certain upgrades also have passive effects, for instance reducing the amount of damage sustained while wearing armor or granting the ability to deflect attacks.
Upgrades to armor could require several attempts, depending on the type of armor. For example for instance, if a player wants to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with the base defense of 59 and 67. The second attempt would result in a Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense range of 67-77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To upgrade their armor players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains located in the game. upgrade item of these locations holds an incredibly powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief armor in The Division 2 is not useless. The truth is that some armors provide significant increases in poison or curse, fire, or magic damage reduction, making them extremely useful for specific builds. There are other methods to improve armor stats besides upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer attribute to increase armor penetration or the challenger to reduce the total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by putting it in an brewing stand in order to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new tier of potion effect, and can be repeated to get higher levels of potency.
The potions also get the ability to select a custom color that can be selected by the player via the /give. This color will affect the effect clouds' area-of-effect as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color of the potion also affects the potions' particle effects.
The water bottle, common and thick potions as well as difficult potions, now have a different brewing texture. Add potion of weakness and healing potion to the Creative inventory. The addition of lingering potions which can be brewed using splash potions or Dragon breath. Also included is a thick potion which has the status effect Mining Fatigue.
